MANAGER – SoCal Cannabis Company

Seeking a General Manager to take a leadership role with a young cannabis brand located in SoCal.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for all operational oversight of scheduling, production, cultivation, distribution, and other key areas of growth. They will take over an existing team, while also looking to expand rapidly with a team they will build.

We are attracted to individuals who have something to prove and are looking to earn a piece of the pie as we grow. Our focus is on being the best brand in the industry, and we need motivated people that can guide the day-to-day operations.

Please note: Only applicants with General Management experience will be considered.  GM’s with past cannabis experience will be favored.

  

The successful candidate will have:

  • real and extensive experience, as a GM, and preferably in the Cannabis marketplace in California,
  • minimum 2 years’ experience in senior management,
  • superior inter-personal skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • direct and successful experience working with owners and investors

The successful candidate will be:

  • a self-starter capable of anticipating the needs of the business and responding accordingly
  • an able negotiator with vendors, contractors, employees and customers
  • honest, reliable, conscientious and focused
  • a proven leader with great analytical skills

In conjunction with engaged ownership, the successful candidate will:

  • oversee the complete operations of the business
  • manage a growing team of staff
  • maintain budgets and financial reporting
  • help establish best practices, operating manuals and procedures
  • have, or will build, extensive contacts in the industry and will continue to develop and grow new relationships
  • have a working knowledge of the regulatory environment and requirements in California
