The opening of Cookies Baltimore, a cannabis dispensary in Federal Hill, will mark the start of recreational sales on July 1st.
On Saturday, Cookies Baltimore, a cannabis dispensary with over 59 global locations, will open its doors in Federal Hill. Noxx Cannabis, the parent company of Cookies Baltimore, acquired the medical cannabis license previously held by Pure Life Wellness at 35 E. Cross St. and will operate from the same retail space.
Starting July 1st, Maryland will initiate recreational cannabis sales for individuals aged 21 and above. Cookies Baltimore will commence selling recreational cannabis in July, but until then, they will cater to individuals possessing MMCC Patient and Caregiver Identification Cards for medical cannabis purchases.
After July 1st, MMCC cardholders will not be subject to the new recreational cannabis taxes.
Established in 2010 by Berner, a rapper from the San Francisco Bay area, Cookies has grown into a renowned brand. In a press release, Berner expressed his enthusiasm for Maryland, stating, "I've always loved the vibe in Maryland, especially after our first drop on the East Coast. The line was long, filled with excitement and timeless energy. We are thrilled about opening our first official flagship in Maryland and eagerly await the start of recreational sales in July."
Aside from Cookies' proprietary products, the Baltimore location will offer items from other brands. Customers can choose from cannabis options such as flower, pre-rolls, vape carts, concentrates, and edibles.
In addition to cannabis, Cookies Baltimore will provide CBD, rolling papers, trays, and lighters. They will also feature Cookies SF local reserve apparel and accessories.
Inside the dispensary, visitors can expect Baltimore-themed murals and artwork, creating a unique atmosphere.
Cookies Baltimore will be open every day from 9 am to 9 pm.
